Lines

The SIM lines your live sales go out from, and what each needs before it can sell.

A live sale goes out from a line your business has connected: a real number on MTN, Glo, Airtel or T2 Mobile. The line's own airtime or data pays the carrier, and your wallet pays only the charges. Test mode never touches a line.

What a live sale needs

  1. The plan has charges. Without them the sale is refused up front.
  2. A connected line on that network, in a group that sells the plan. Open the network under Networks in the dashboard, then Lines.
  3. Stock on the line for what it sends.
  4. For airtime, the line's Share PIN.
  5. A funded live wallet for the charges.

If no line can send the sale and no vendor link can either, it is accepted and then fails with ROUTING_NO_CANDIDATES, and the hold is released. Check your channels with List channels.

Connecting a line

A line is signed in with a code the carrier sends to it. Glo and T2 Mobile also ask for the line's passcode on their own app, and a line with no account on that app must sign up there first.

A wrong code counts against five tries, after which you start again. Airtel's own limit may be lower. Codes are limited per number per hour, so do not keep asking for new ones.

A carrier session can end. The line then shows Reconnect and sells nothing until you connect it again with a fresh code.

Airtime limits

An airtime share is limited per transfer and per line per day, as staff set them for each network: at present ₦50 to ₦10,000 a transfer and ₦100,000 a line a day. A larger sale goes as several transfers, and can deliver part of the order.
