Acceptable use

The rules

Routegate moves real value to real phone numbers, which makes it attractive to people with bad intentions. These rules exist so that the service stays available to everyone else.

• Do not use the service to launder money, to move the proceeds of fraud, or to help anyone else do either.
• Do not send to numbers you have no business relationship with, and do not resell access to someone whose customers you cannot identify.
• Do not test the service with stolen card details or with funding you do not control.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, to probe other tenants' data, or to reverse engineer the routing to game provider pricing.
• Do not put our API keys, webhook secrets or any credential in client-side code, a public repository or a support message.
• Do not present Routegate as your own infrastructure to a network operator, or use our name in a way that suggests they endorse you.

What happens if you break them

We suspend first and ask questions immediately after, because the alternative is losing the channel for every other customer. Your settled balance stays yours, and we will explain what we saw. If we got it wrong, we will say so and turn the account back on.

Reporting abuse

If you believe an account on Routegate is being used against these rules, write to [email protected]. Reports are read by a person, every day.
